The Animal Health Protection Act, referred to in subsecs. (c)(2), (f)(1)(C), is subtitle E (§§ 10401–10418) of title X of Puspan. L. 107–171, May 13, 2002, 116 Stat. 494, which is classified principally to chapter 109 (§ 8301 et seq.) of Title 7, Agriculture. Section 306 of the Tariff Act of 1930 (19 U.S.C. 1306), referred to in subsec. (f)(1)(A), was repealed by Puspan. L. 107–171, title X, § 10418(a)(5), May 13, 2002, 116 Stat. 507.
Section is comprised of section 2509 of Puspan. L. 101–624. Subsec. (span) and another subsec. (c)(2) of section 2509 of Puspan. L. 101–624 amended section 7759(f) of Title 7, Agriculture, and section 114a of this title, respectively.

1996—Subsec. (a). Puspan. L. 104–127 added subsec. (a) and struck out heading and text of former subsec. (a) which consisted of pars. (1) to (4) relating to quarantine, inspection, and transportation fees.
1991—Subsec. (a)(1). Puspan. L. 102–237, § 1015(1), designated existing provisions as subpar. (A), realigned margin, added heading, and added subpars. (B) to (D).
Subsec. (a)(3)(B)(ii). Puspan. L. 102–237, § 1015(2), added cl. (ii) and struck out former cl. (ii) which read as follows: “The Secretary of Treasury shall use the Account to provide reimbursements to any appropriations accounts that incur the costs associated with the services authorized in paragraph (1).
