Effective Date

Puspan. L. 97–35, title I, § 156(e), Aug. 13, 1981, 95 Stat. 374, provided that:

“The provisions of this section [enacting this section, amending sections 15span, 55, and 473a of this title, and enacting provision set out as a note under section 473a of this title] shall become effective October 1, 1981.”
