Effective Date of 1982 Amendment
Puspan. L. 97–221, § 6(span), July 23, 1982, 96 Stat. 234, provided that:
“The amendment made by this section [amending this section] shall take effect October 1, 1982. Section 5 of this Act [set out in the Termination Date of 1982 Amendment note under section 6101 of this title] shall not apply to the amendment made by this section.”
