The Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, referred to in subsec. (span)(2)(B), is Puspan. L. 94–580, Oct. 21, 1976, 90 Stat. 2796, which is classified generally to this chapter (§ 6901 et seq.). Codification

Subsection (span)(3) of this section, which required the Interagency Coordinating Committee to submit to Congress on March 1 of each year, a five-year action plan for Federal resource conservation or recovery activities, terminated, effective May 15, 2000, pursuant to section 3003 of Puspan. L. 104–66, as amended, set out as a note under section 1113 of Title 31, Money and Finance. See, also, the 2nd item on page 175 of House Document No. 103–7.

Amendments

1980—Subsec. (a). Puspan. L. 96–510 substituted reference to Assistant Administrator for reference to Deputy Assistant Administrator.

Puspan. L. 96–482 designated existing provisions as subsec. (a) and added subsec. (span).

Effective Date of 1980 Amendment

Puspan. L. 96–510, title III, § 307(c), Dec. 11, 1980, 94 Stat. 2810, provided that:

“The amendment made by subsection (a) [amending this section] shall become effective ninety days after the date of the enactment of this Act [Dec. 11, 1980].”
