2007—Subsec. (span)(1). Puspan. L. 110–140, § 302(a), which directed amendment of subsec. (span)(1) by striking “(1)” and all that followed through the “end of the paragraph” and inserting a new par. (1) designation and heading and subpar. (A), was executed by substituting the new par. (1) designation and heading and subpar. (A) for “(1)(A) The Secretary may amend test procedures with respect to any covered product if the Secretary determines that amended test procedures would more accurately or fully comply with the requirements of paragraph (3).” to reflect the probable intent of Congress.
