Subsec. (span)(1). Puspan. L. 107–330, § 308(span)(1), substituted “employment in a high technology occupation in a high technology industry” for “employment in a high technology industry”.

Effective Date
Puspan. L. 107–103, title I, § 104(c), Dec. 27, 2001, 115 Stat. 982, provided that:
“The amendments made by this section [enacting this section and amending section 3680 of this title] shall take effect October 1, 2002, and shall apply with respect to enrollments in courses or programs of education or training beginning on or after that date.”
