Amendments

2003—Subsec. (a)(2). Puspan. L. 108–178, § 4(h)(1), substituted “(40 U.S.C. 8903 note)” for “(40 U.S.C. 1003 note)”.

Subsec. (c)(1). Puspan. L. 108–178, § 4(h)(2), substituted “section 8906(span) of title 40” for “section 8(span) of the Commemorative Works Act (40 U.S.C. 1008(span))”.

Effect of Repeal of Current Memorial Fund

Puspan. L. 106–117, title VI, § 601(c), Nov. 30, 1999, 113 Stat. 1578, provided that:

“Upon the enactment of this Act [Nov. 30, 1999], the Secretary of the Treasury shall transfer amounts in the fund created by section 4(a) of Public Law 103–32 (40 U.S.C. 1003 note) [now 40 U.S.C. 8903 note] to the fund created by section 2113(span) of title 36, United States Code, as added by subsection (a).”
