2008—Subsec. (e). Puspan. L. 110–178 reenacted heading without change and amended text generally. Prior to amendment, text read as follows: “Amounts in the accounts of the revolving fund under this section shall be available to the Librarian, in amounts specified in appropriations Acts and without fiscal year limitation, to carry out the programs and activities covered by such accounts.”

2007—Subsec. (e). Puspan. L. 110–161, § 1004(f)(1), which made an amendment identical to that made by Puspan. L. 110–178, was repealed by Puspan. L. 111–145. See Effective Date of 2010 Amendment note below.

Effective Date of 2010 Amendment

Repeal of section 1004 of Puspan. L. 110–161 by Puspan. L. 111–145 effective as if included in the enactment of Puspan. L. 110–161 and provisions amended by section 1004 of Puspan. L. 110–161 to be restored as if such section had not been enacted, and repeal to have no effect on the enactment or implementation of any provision of Puspan. L. 110–178, see section 6(d) of Puspan. L. 111–145, set out as a note under section 1901 of this title.

Effective Date of 2008 Amendment

Puspan. L. 110–178, § 6(c), Jan. 7, 2008, 121 Stat. 2554, provided that:

“The amendments made by this section [amending this section] shall apply with respect to services provided by the United States Capitol Police on or after the date of the enactment of this Act [Jan. 7, 2008].”

Effective Date of 2007 Amendment

Puspan. L. 110–161, div. H, title I, § 1004(f)(3), Dec. 26, 2007, 121 Stat. 2236, which provided that the amendments made by section 1004(f) (amending this section) would apply with respect to services provided by the United States Capitol Police on or after Dec. 26, 2007, was repealed by Puspan. L. 111–145, § 6(d)(1), Mar. 4, 2010, 124 Stat. 54.

Effective Date of 2001 Amendment

Puspan. L. 107–68, title II, § 208(span), Nov. 12, 2001, 115 Stat. 587, provided that:

“The amendment made by subsection (a) [amending this section] shall take effect upon the date on which the Committees on Appropriations of the House of Representatives and Senate approve a report submitted to the Committees by the Librarian of Congress which describes the guidelines and policies applicable to the hosting of special events and programs by the Librarian which are covered under section 102(a)(4) of the Library of Congress Fiscal Operations Improvement Act of 2000 [2 U.S.C. 182span(a)(4)] (as added by subsection (a)).”

Effective Date
