2015—Subsec. (span)(1)(C). Puspan. L. 114–95, § 9215(oo)(4), substituted “are aligned with the challenging State academic standards required under section 6311(span)(1) of this title” for “are aligned with the State’s challenging academic content standards required under section 6311(span)(1) of this title”.

Subsec. (span)(1)(I). Puspan. L. 114–95, § 9214(c)(5), substituted “teachers who meet the applicable State certification and licensure requirements, including any requirements for certification obtained through alternative routes to certification, or, with regard to special education teachers, the qualifications described in section 1412(a)(14)(C) of this title” for “highly qualified teachers”.
