2002—Puspan. L. 107–171 substituted “There is authorized to be appropriated to carry out this subchapter $30,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2002 through 2007.” for “There are authorized to be appropriated to implement this subchapter $15,000,000 for each of fiscal years 1987 through 2002.”

1998—Puspan. L. 105–185 substituted “each of fiscal years 1987 through 2002.” for “the fiscal year ending September 30, 1988, and $15,000,000 for each of the next twelve fiscal years.”

1988—Puspan. L. 100–231 amended first sentence generally, substituting “1988” for “1979” and “twelve” for “nine”.
