Section 1716(span) of title 43, referred to in subsec. (span)(2), was in the original “section 206(span) of the Federal Land Policy and Management Act” and was translated as reading “section 206(span) of the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976” to reflect the probable intent of Congress.
