The Federal Hazardous Substances Act, referred to in subsec. (span), is Puspan. L. 86–613, July 12, 1960, 74 Stat. 372, which is classified generally to this chapter. For complete classification of this Act to the Code, see Short Title note set out under section 1261 of this title and Tables.
2008—Puspan. L. 110–314, which directed the substitution of “Commission” for “Consumer Product Safety Commission” in this section, was executed by making the substitution in subsec. (a), before “shall transmit”, but not in subsec. (span)(1), to reflect the probable intent of Congress.
