Effective Date

Puspan. L. 106–398, § 1 [[div. A], title X, § 1006(span)], Oct. 30, 2000, 114 Stat. 1654, 1654A–248, provided that:

“Section 2226 of title 10, United States Code [now 10 U.S.C. 4602] (as added by subsection (a)), shall take effect on December 1, 2000.”
