- Table 18 to Subpart XXXX of Part 63—Continuous Compliance With the Emission Limitations for Rubber Processing Affected Sources
As stated in § 63.6014(a), you must show continuous compliance with the emission limitations for rubber processing affected sources according to the following table:
For . . . | You must demonstrate continuous compliance by . . . | 1. Each THC continuous emissions monitoring system installed in a rubber processing mixer affected source | a. Continuously monitoring and record the THC concentration and calculate the daily THC emissions in grams per day. | 2. Each rubber processing affected source | a. Continuously monitor the daily mass of mixed rubber compound processed for each mixer in megagrams per day. | 3. Each rubber processing affected source fabric filter | a. Maintain and operate the fabric filter so that the alarm on the BLDS is not activated and an alarm condition does not exist for more than 5 percent of the total operating time in each 6-month reporting period; and continuously recording the output from the BLDS detection system; and | b. Each time the alarm sounds and the owner or operator initiates corrective actions within 1 hour of the alarm, 1 hour of alarm time will be counted (if the owner or operator takes longer than 1 hour to initiate corrective actions, alarm time will be counted as the actual amount of time taken by the owner or operator to initiate corrective actions); if inspection of the fabric filter system demonstrates that no corrective actions are necessary, no alarm time will be counted. |
